The Civil Services Training Program (CSTP) is an 18-weeks program, consisting upon two terms, in which the occupational needs of the probationers are being identifying. An additional week-long activity on Orientation and hands on exercise on Information Technology (IT) has also been included to familiarize the probationers with modern-day IT needs in public sector office work.

The training activities also includes, the Lecture Discussions (LDs), Workshops, Panel Discussions (PDs), Tutorial Debates, Tutorial Discussions (TDs), Seminars, etc.  

It further includes other individual assignments {Current Issue Presentations (CIPs), Revenue Research Paper (RRP), Synopsis Writing} and group assignments such as, Case Study Research (CSR), Local Study Visits (LSVs), National Study Tour (NST), etc. Organization of Sports and cultural events, Guests Evenings are also part of the program.

Additional activities may also be incorporated in this training program if considered necessary and useful to accomplish the overall objectives of the course plan.
